How to enable Facebook connect in 123 Flash Chat?

Please refer to the following instructions.

Step 1. Enable Social Connect

Login 123 Flash Chat admin panel-> Social Connect .
* Please note that social connect feature can't be enabled unless the chat room is accessible from the Internet.
About the domain configuration, please refer to Domain Instructions .

Step 2. Get a Facebook API

1. First, login your Facebook account at http://www.facebook.com . If you don't have an account yet,please register one first.

2. Visit https://developers.facebook.com/?ref=pf , click " Allow " to become a developer. Then click Apps -> Create New App at top to create your new application.

2.1 Input Display Name, such us support_chat, choose your Category, such as Communication, Namespace is optional.

2.2 Then click "Create App" to create your new application.

2.3 Verify this application through Security Check via text or audio captcha, then click "Submit".

3. After verifying your app, please visit Apps-> your chat app-> Settings-> Basic, enter Domain in "App Domains", which should be the same as the domain in Social Connect panel of the chat, and enter your email address in the "Contact Email" settings.

4. Click "Add Platform" on the same page, and choose "Website", Enter the Site URL in the "Site URL" settings. Then click "Save Changes".

5. Visit Apps-> your chat app-> Status & Review, click the button besides "NO" to make it available to public and click "Confirm".

Step 3. Configure Facebook in 123 Flash Chat.

1. Find the two values at Apps-> your chat app-> Settings:
App ID
App Secret(Click Show)

2. Go back to your chat admin panel-> Social Connect-> Facebook app ,
enter the App ID value to API Key ;
and enter the corresponding value for API Secret .
And check Enable Facebook Connect option.

Step 4. Test Your Chat

Open your chat room, and a Facebook login button will show on Sign-in/Register panel. Then click it to login with your Facebook account.
