I've been thinking and a lot of our users and I know our site and users probably give the most feedback. However like I say we just want to see 123 Flash Chat succeed.
We know we can right click or left click on a persons name and choose "Personal Message" which will indicate we are talking to them, and then we have to switch back to "All Users" when we are done.
Why can't there be a quick reply button after each persons text, so when this button is pressed it will automatically go to "Personal Message" but automatically switch back to "All Users" after pressing enter, having to to keep choosing from a drop down arrow all the time back and forth can just be complicated, not saying get rid of the drop down functionally, but let users do quick replies that are for those who just wanna respond to a specific user once.
So let's say for example:
John Doe says: What's up! Add a button so Jane Doe or any other user can reply to John Doe, and after pressing enter then it auto switches back to All Users without users forgetting to switch back to the All Users from drop down.
I really hope this makes sense.
*This purpose of this is because when some users choose "Personal Message" they forget to switch back to "All Users" and our chatters are like huh, was that to me who what is going, etc! It makes chat confusing so a "Quick Reply" button would be nice for those who wanna respond to a specific users once, then after pressing enter to submit their text it will go back to "All Users" automatically...
