How to change the online/offline button to your picture?

The online/offline pictures are controlled by parameters: online_display and offline_display, and the precondition is that the "button_type" is set to "BUTTON_TYPE_IMAGE" already.

In the generated code of 123LiveHelp, find function: livehelp();

Before it you can find code:
var button_type = BUTTON_TYPE_IMAGE;
var online_display = "http://yourhost.com/img/online.jpg";
var offline_display = "http://yourhost.com/img/offline.jpg";

Sample Pictures:

Then replace online1.jpg and offline1.jpg with your own.

1) A different file name will work too, but don't forget to change the code accordingly.
2) A different path for the picture will work too, and an absolute path is preferred.
3) Any picture format is accepted, including JPG, GIF, PNG, etc.
4) Filesize, less than 20kb will be appreciated.
5) A real human picture is the best choice.
6) The picture dimension can be any size you like, as long as it fits your site.

Note: for button_type, you have two options: BUTTON_TYPE_IMAGE for picture, BUTTON_TYPE_TEXT for text link.
Find details in 123livehelp User Manual, Generate-Embedded-Code.html item 3 and item 4.
The principle also applies to: var button_type = BUTTON_TYPE_TEXT;
You just need to replace the following two lines to the text you want to indicate online or offline status.

You can also use the parameters listed on the page by adding them before function: livehelp();
